Terrence Romeo puts on show as Manila West 3x3 team debuts with win over Auckland

MANILA West defeated Auckland, New Zealand, 21-18, on Saturday in its opening game in the 2015 Fiba 3x3 World Tour Manila Masters at the Robinsons Place in Ermita, Manila.

Terrence Romeo led the way for the reigning Manila Masters champions, scoring the winning bucket to start their title-retention bid on a high note to the delight of a full house at the Orosa Atrium.

Rey Guevarra, Aldrech Ramos, and Nino Canaleta are the other members of the Manila West that turned a 7-6 lead into a 12-6 advantage on their way to the victory.

The Manila West squad looks to sweep the preliminaries against the Manila South squad composed of Cebu-based players Lucky Ecarma, Jair Igna, Carlo Ortega, and Joshua Sinclair.
