INSTEAD of sulking in one corner following Ateneo’s shocking exit in the UAAP Final Four, Kiefer Ravena shrugged off his heartache by playing basketball.

The reigning league MVP admitted attending one of Talk `N Text’s practices at the Moro Lorenzon gym inside the Ateneo campus shortly after the abrupt end to the Blue Eagles’ season.

The Ateneo hotshot sought the permission of his father, Talk 'N Text assistant coach Bong Ravena, and was readily granted the green light to join the rest of the Texters of head coach Jong Uichico.

Ravena said he was just trying to get in shape notwithstanding Ateneo’s failed bid to regain the UAAP title.

“Nag-paalam siya kung puwedeng mag-practice sa Talk ‘N Text para tuluy-tuloy ang kundisyon niya,” said Ravena.

Kiefer added he is also preparing himself for the Eagles’ coming campaign in several tournaments that include the University Games, and possibly the Philippine Collegiate Championship.
