FROM one legend to another.

Former PBA MVP Johnny Abarrietos said he only has respect for boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, with who he went one-on-one against in a few instances during the Stalwarts vs Greats in the 2016 PBA All-Stat festivities Friday night.

Pacman and 'The Flying A' guarded each other a few times during their stint in the 40-minute Blitz Game. Abarrientos though admitted pulling his punches a little bit.

"Halfway. Siyempre nirerespeto," said Abarrientos after the Stalwarts' 99-95 win. "Minsan hindi mo alam kung seseryosohin mo kasi idolo ng buong bayan 'yan."

The Star Hotshots deputy, though, said he was impressed with how athletic the eight-time world division champion is.

"Parang given na kahit anong sports kaya niyang laruin," said Abarrientos.
