NEW season, new look.

From blonde locks last season, Phoenix forward JC Intal rocked a new hairdo when the Fuelmasters made their debut in the PBA Philippine Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The former Ateneo star attracted a lot of attention when he stepped on the floor with a trendy undercut that featured an untrimmed top and was ponytailed at the back.

Intal said he merely wanted a new look to start the season.

"It's nothing connected naman sa basketball," said the former Gilas Pilipinas forward. "I just want to try something new."

"A month ago lang ito, kasi before nag-blonde ako eh ngayon naman clean cut," he added.

But if there's one thing he wants to change, it's not the radical look but the carelessness which the young Phoenix side displayed in an 87-94 loss to Blackwater.

Phoenix committed 23 turnovers that resulted in 26 bonus points for Blackwater.

"Our turnovers talaga, grabe. In his game we had (more than) 20 so I hope we could bounce back when we face a powerhouse team against San Miguel," said Intal.
