PBA stars James Yap and Mark Caguioa turned into basketball fans after witnessing Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant's incredible 60-point farewell performance against the Utah Jazz.

On their respective social media accounts, the duo - both known for their scoring prowess - expressed their admiration for the 37-year-old Bryant who capped off a 20-year career with a fitting Hollywood ending.

The veteran Ginebra scorer waxed nostalgic as he shared a photo of him and Yap playing against Bryant in an exhibition game. Yap joked by saying that Purefoods would welcome the Black Mamba as their new import.

"Sa makuha ka naming import lol," Yap, a two-time PBA MVP, tweeted.

Fil-Am coach and former PBA star Vince Hizon was ecstatic while watching Kobe's game, admitting he was left teary-eyed by the proceedings. The recently retired Ali Peek posed an interesting question for hoops fans.

Many stars posted Kobe-related photos such as Kiefer Ravena while GlobalPort spitfire Terrence Romeo shared an emoji-laden tweet that expressed gratitude for the NBA superstar.
