IVAN Johnson is facing a lifetime ban from the PBA after an altercation with league commissioner Chito Narvasa in the Tropang TNT’s Commissioner’s Cup game against Meralco on Saturday at the Philsports Arena.

After getting ejected for picking up a second technical on a flagrant foul penalty 1 on Bolts big man Bryan Faundo late in the second quarter, the temperamental Texters import uttered some choice words to Narvasa before he exited the court.

Media bureau chief Willie Marcial said Johnson, who was playing in his first game after serving a suspension and paying a P50,000 fine for figuring in a fight in a tune-up game against Blackwater, is expected to receive a harsh penalty.

“Malamang ban na iyan kasi kita ko sa bibig niya lumabas yung ‘f...you’ tapos sabay talikod,” Marcial said.

“Para kasing pinapatahimik na siya ni Com dahil may sinasabi sa kanya. Eh commissioner’s na 'yun eh, kataas-taasan na minura mo,” Marcial added.

If he does get banned, Johnson will follow the path of former Petron import Renaldo Balkman who was meted the expulsion following a choking incident with teammate Arwind Santos last March 2013.
