ARWIND Santos was hardly worried despite him missing San Miguel Beer’s Commissioner’s Cup game against GlobalPort on Friday.

The SMB star forward, who nursed minor hamstring injuries, said he believed the Beermen had more than enough firepower to beat GlobalPort on Friday night. True enough, the team rolled to a 120-109 victory.

“Sabi ko nga, yung team namin parang Marvel, maraming hero.

“Mahirap (kami) talunin,” he added.

Santos said he will be fit to play in their next game on Wednesday against Blackwater at Ynares Center.

“Pahinga lang naman,” the 34-year-old cager said.

By missing the game on Friday, though, Santos’ streak of 305 consecutive games played – third all-time longest – came to an end.

Santos said he didn't mind.

“Hindi naman (nasayangan),” the former league MVP said.
