Jury still out on import Jarrid Famous as Blackwater continues alarming slide
Jarrid Famous solid all-aroud game was not enought to keep the Elite from absorbing another loss. Marlo Cueto

BI√ĎAN, Laguna - Blackwater coach Bong Ramos has yet to pass judgment on the fate of port Jarrid Famous despite the Elite reeling to their fifth straight loss in the PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Famous put up another solid showing with a game-high 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting, 17 boards, two assists, one steal, one block, and only one turnover in 43 minutes, but failed to lead the Elite to the victory.

"We have to sit down pa with the coaches and then sa management," Ramos said. "Kung titingnan mo naman stats niya, maganda parati."

"Yun lang, he's not a go-to guy talaga," he added as a handful of Famous points came from second-chance possessions -evidenced by his eight offensive rebounds.

"Tingnan natin. Baka suddenly, 'di ba? Hindi ko alam," Ramos continued.

Whoever their import, Ramos is hoping the Elite, as unit, can learn to stay toe to toe with their opponents all-game long.

"Bumitaw kami nung second quarter," Ramos said. "Meron naman ako positive nakita pero meron ring kailangan i-fix."
