TNT takes a look at Glen Rice Jr as possible import replacement for Michael Craig

TnT Katropa decided to bring in a possible replacement import whose name alone invokes a legendary player regarded as one of the best gunners ever.

Glen Rice Jr. arrived in the country on Wednesday and could be in line to take the place of Michael Craig in the PBA Governors Cup.

The 26-year-old shooter is the son and namesake of NBA great Glen Rice, and was the second round pick of the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2013 NBA draft.

Craig isn’t doing bad as the Katropa’s reinforcement in the season-ending meet, having steered the team to a 2-1 start. But as the smallest among this conference’s batch of import at under 6-foot-3, management isn’t entirely convinced the teamcan go deep in the playoffs with Craig as import.

Calls and text messages left to the TnT team manager however, were yet returned as of posting time, but team sources revealed the Katropa will take a look at Rice Jr. in practice before making a decision on a replacement, if necessary.
