BARANGAY Ginebra is set to miss the services of three key players in its crucial PBA Philippine Cup game against Rain or Shine in Sunday’s main game at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Team assistant coach Olsen Racela disclosed injuries will prevent Chris Ellis, Jayjay Helterbrand, and Josh Urbiztondo from suiting up for the Kings’ final game of the eliminations.

The Kings are no longer in the running for the two outright berths in the semis, but remain in the hunt for a twice-to-beat incentive in the quarterfinals.

A possible match-up with defending champion Purefoods looms in the horizon for Ginebra in the playoffs depending on the outcome of the games during the final day of the eliminations on Tuesday.

According to Racela, Helterbrand is bothered by a painful groin, Ellis by a swollen foot and Urbiztondo by back spasm.

Mac Baracael was also listed as a 'game-time decision' due to an undisclosed injury, but was eventually tapped to start by Ginebra coach Jeff Cariaso against Rain or Shine.
