BARANGAY Ginebra and NLEX clash on Saturday in Legazpi City, looking to avoid getting into a deeper hole in their campaign in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

The Kings and the Road Warriors battle at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation in a Petron Saturday Special match-up beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Ginebra and NLEX must make their move right now in order to keep themselves in the hunt for the quarterfinals.

Ginebra has dropped their last three games to fall to a 1-5 win-loss mark. The Kings, 11th in the team standings, are coming off a 104-97 overtime loss to San Miguel last week.

“Hopefully, ‘yung never say die spirit namin lumabas starting next game,” said Ginebra point guard LA Tenorio. “We have to have the sense of urgency to play our next five games. It’s going to be crucial every game.”

The Road Warriors, on the other hand, have also been struggling and sit at 10th place with a 2-5 win-loss card.

NLEX lost to league-leader TNT, 117-106, last week in its second game without Kiefer Ravena after being slapped with a suspension by Fiba for taking substances banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
