ILOILO – Gilas Pilipinas earned a consolation after suffering a blowout defeat at the hands of the  Visayas All-Stars by ruling the dance-off at the University of San Agustin gym.

The Smart All-Star national team’s dance routine was better thought of this time after putting up short performances for the sake of it in the first two legs.

It began with a skit that saw Jayson Castro, Gabe Norwood, and Matthew Wright having drinks, before teammates Calvin Abueva, Japeth Aguilar, Troy Rosario and Mac Belo came out wearing dresses, moving to the tune of Beyonce’s Single Ladies to draw cheers and laughter from the crowd at the packed University of San Agustin gym.

Then they went on to their regular routine with Jio Jalalon leading the way as they ended up beating the offering of the virtual home crowd.

The national team took home the P100,000 prize, while the Visayas selection settled for the P50,000 second prize.
