Family comes first as Poy Erram takes care of sick baby daughter before Blackwater tune-up
Poy Erram played with only an hour of sleep in a tuneup win against Ginebra as the Blackwater big man took care of his sick baby daughter befre the game.

FAMILY comes first, while work is a close second.

Poy Erram juggled his priorities on Tuesday when he attended to his sick baby daughter before heading to Blackwater’s tune-up game against Ginebra at the Upper Deck gym.

The 28-year-old dad had to take care of his two-month-old baby girl, Xaria Ada, who was taken to the hospital after being struck with pneumonia, causing Erram to run on just an hour of sleep for their game against the Gin Kings.

“Hindi ako naka-(contribute) eh, kasi puyat ako, kasi yung baby ko na-ospital,” Erram bared to SPIN.ph after the game. "Nagka-pneumonia, so kailangan ko bantayan. Puro suka tsaka ubo.

After all, Erram was trying to make up for getting ejected due to his fight with Michael Miranda in the tune-up game against NLEX last Saturday, a game where the Road Warriors won by two points.

Erram’s sacrifice didn’t go to waste as the Elite held off the Gin Kings, 98-89.

Good thing, the mother of Erram’s daughter took her turn in taking care of their baby after he left for the game.

“Ako yung nahihirapan pag nakikita kong ganun eh.”
