Commotion involving Allen Durham, Chris Ross breaks out at halftime of SMB-Meralco game

THE atmosphere was at a playoff level even before the start of the postseason as a commotion broke out at the half of the last game of the PBA Governors’ Cup eliminations between San Miguel Beer and Meralco on Sunday night at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Bolts import Allen Durham and SMB star playmaker Chris Ross were at the center of the commotion, exchanging words at the hallway as both teams headed to their respective dugouts at the half that ended with the Beermen up, 51-39.

A fuming Durham was seen approaching Ross at the hallway, causing one of the railings that separated both teams to fall, before cooler heads separated the two players.

Witnesses said the commotion was sparked by a play that involved Durham and Ross in the second quarter that didn’t sit well with the reigning Best Import.
