CHRISTIAN Standhardinger missed San Miguel’s all-important game against Ginebra on Sunday due to a swollen right knee.

Beermen physical therapists relayed that the Fil-German forward suffered the injury during the Philippine team practices in preparation for the 2018 Fiba 3x3 World Cup.

San Miguel coach Leo Austria then took precaution and opted to rest Standhardinger for the game.

He still sat on the team bench but was in street clothes.

Standhardinger is averaging 15.3 points, 8.25 rebounds, and 1.75 assists for the conference.

He will be a part of Team Philippines in the half-court exposition, set to be staged at Philippine Arena from June 8 to 12, together with Stanley Pringle, Troy Rosario, and Roger Pogoy.
