CALVIN Abueva has learned to chill as he found himself in hot water once again in the PBA.

Abueva was slapped with a one-game suspension and a P22,000 fine for his elbow to the face of Ginebra wingman Chris Ellis in their game last Sunday night.

The Alaska star took the punishment in stride.

“Wala naman tayong magagawa, nandiyan na ‘yan (suspension and fine), desisyon nila ‘yan,” he told SPIN.ph over the phone on Tuesday.

The former San Sebastian star will miss Alaska's game against TNT Katropa on Friday in Antipolo, but he's looking to make up for lost time when Alaska faces Mahindra on August 3.

“Bumawi na lang tayo sa next game, ganoon na lang,” he said.

Alaska currently holds an even 1-1 win-loss record for a share of fifth spot with Blackwater, Ginebra, NLEX and Rain or Shine.
