IS a reunion for former University of Cebu partners June Mar Fajardo and Brian Heruela on the cards?

This possibility arose on Thursday after PBA commissioner Chito Salud approved a one-on-one trade that saw Blackwater send Heruela to Barako Bull for combo guard Carlo Lastimosa.

Although he is now with Barako, there are doubts if the Energy camp is the final destination of Heruela, who was the assists leader in the ongoing PBA Governors Cup.

A source told that Heruela has long been on the wish list of Fajardo, who is the main man of San Miguel Beer.

“Nuong araw pa talaga 'yan gusto maging kakampi ulit ni June Mar. Kaso nga nakuha siya ng Blackwater sa draft,” said the source.

Unlike Blackwater and Barako, the Beermen are still in the hunt in the Governors Cup and therefore cannot get involved in trades until the end of their season.

Heruela was said to be on the radar of other teams like Talk 'N Text, which even invited the burly Cebuano guard to the team's preseason camp. tried to get in touch with Barako Bull team manager Reyboy Rodriguez but the former UST Tigers forward is not answering calls and texts.
