Bong Go gets in a little practice with Hontiveros and Co. ahead of three-point shootout
Presidential assistant Bong Go is competing in the special PBA shootout on Wednesday.

SECRETARY Bong Go warmed up a little bit for the coming special three-point shootout of the PBA All-Star game by engaging some of the league’s former top guns in a shooting contest a week ago.

Go joined the likes of Allan Caidic, Dondon Hontiveros, Willie Miller, and Gerry Esplana in a friendly shootout during a special exhibition match held in Valenzuela City.

“Katuwaan lang. Si Dondon (Hontiveros) ang nanalo,” disclosed President Duterte’s special assistant.

Other than that, the 43-year-old public servant said he’s not had any serious practice for the special shootout that will spice up the kickoff leg of this year’s All-Star week in Digos, Davao del Sur on Wednesday.

“Hindi naman. Friendly competition lang 'yun. During the contest na lang. Kung makuha mo pulso mo, di mas maganda,” he said.

Go will team up with Caidic in the competition that will pit them against three other duos featuring a public official and a PBA player.

The other participants are Presidential son-in-law Mans Carpio together with partner Magnolia's Peter June Simon, and Major Michael Sabsal collaborates with Barangay Ginebra’s Scottie Thompson.

The fourth team will be composed of former PBA MVP Kenneth Duremdes and Senator Manny Pacquiao, although the boxing legend reportedly won’t be able to make it to the event.
