SAN Miguel Beer star Arwind Santos has been summoned by the PBA Commissioner's Office in light of his comments following a 95-87 loss to Ginebra in Game 3 of their Philippine Cup semifinal playoff.

In his post-game interview, the former league MVP alluded to 'shadows' which he said made it hard for the Beermen to beat the Gin Kings on Tuesday night at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Commissioner Willie Marcial said Santos will appear before him to shed light on his allegations at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, right after the Beermen's practice.

"What went wrong? Medyo ano eh... May mga shadow eh... Parang may mga shadow yung mga players kanina eh. Parang yung lima nagiging walo,” the former Far Eastern University star said.

“Parang ganun eh. Kaya parang nahihirapan kami bantayan kasi lima lang yung kalaban, pero nagiging walo. Ewan ko kung sobrang bilis kaya may shadow?”

Game Four of the best-of-seven semifinal series is set on Thursday.
