Arwind Santos moves on, expects apology from Pogoy: 'Pagka-hindi siya nag-sorry, personalan na yun'
Arwind Santos is keeping his focus on Game Three but he's expecting an apology from Roger Pogoy. Jaime Campos and Jerome Ascano

ARWIND Santos would rather keep his sights trained on Game Three of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals than add insult to injury on Roger Pogoy after the TNT KaTropa rookie was punished for his low blow on the SMB veteran in Game Two.

Asked for his reaction on Pogoy getting slapped a P30,000 fine for the sneaky hit on his groin, Santos instead shifted talk on Game Three on Sunday night when the Beermen shoot for a second straight win and a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series..

“No comment na ako dyan. Basta ako, focus kami sa Game Three,” Santos said in a short chat with after practice on Saturday.

Still, Santos expressed disappointment to get involved in an altercation with a fellow Far Eastern University alumnus.

“Oo naman, kasi hindi normal para sa akin yun,” Santos said. “Tama na magkakalaban kami, pisikalan kami, pero yung mga ganung moves, iwasan natin kasi FEU din siya. Pangit tingnan… Samantalang dati, naaalala ko pagka may laro sila, nandun ako lagi, nakasuporta.”

Now, Santos is waiting for an apology from Pogoy.

“Pero ang inaantay ko lang dito, bakit hindi pa siya nagso-sorry? Hinihintay ko lang yun,” Santos said. “Pero pagka-hindi siya nag-sorry, personalan na yun.”
