COACH Leo Isaac likes what he sees as Blackwater continues its buildup, but is reserving judgement and praise until official PBA play gets underway.

"Pwede," said Isaac when asked if Blackwater is all set to pull off huge surprises in the new season that starts on November 20.

"We would want that to happen pero madali lang sabihin, di ba? We would want to see it during the official games so we're preparing everybody para maganda contribution nila sa actual games."

Blackwater was edged by just four by Rain or Shine in a preseason game on Thursday.

"Nagulat ako kasi may chemistry agad," said Blackwater forward Art dela Cruz. "One week pa lang ata pero ang ganda na ng pasahan namin."

Blackwater stayed within striking distance for the most part, but the Elasto Painters broke loose in the final minutes en route to victory.

Top pick Mac Belo topscored for the Elite with 19 points.
