ALASKA spoiled Terrence Romeo’s first outing with TNT Katropa as the Aces pounced on a shorthanded Katropa, 106-97, in a tune-up game on Wednesday at the Hoops Center.

Antonio Campbell showed flashes of his inside-outside game as he led the Aces with 29 points, while Calvin Abueva added 12 markers as The Beast provided his usual energy on both ends.

Romeo, playing his first game in a TNT uniform since being traded from GlobalPort, looked sluggish as he was reduced into a facilitator, but still finished with 12 points.

"It's our homecourt, so I guess we made some shots," Aces coach Alex Compton said. "But TNT wasn't complete."

Jeremy Tyler scored a game-high 34 points, but couldn't lead the Texters to a win.

The scores:

Alaska 106 — Campbell 29, Abueva 12, Galliguez 8, Teng 8, Exciminiano 7, Thoss 7, Casio 7, Banchero 6, Baclao 5, Cruz 5, Enciso 4, Magat 4, Manuel 4, Andrada 0, Pascual 0, Racal 0
