SAN JOSE, BATANGAS - Nards Pinto suffered a suspected broken nose following a collision with import Jonathan Williams during the PBA Commissioner's Cup game between Barangay Ginebra and Phoenix on Saturday night.
The incident took place during a loose ball scramble at the 3:54 mark of the second quarter and Ginebra leading, 37-34. Phoenix finished strong to snatch an 82-77 win and end the Gin Kings' three-game streak.

The veteran Ginebra guard appeared to have been elbowed by Williams as the two battled for ball possession.
Williams was assessed with a regular loose ball foul.

Pinto left the FPJ Arena with a bloodied nose and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.
There was also a small laceration found on Pinto's nose.
The veteran guard had three points and three rebounds in eight minutes of play before he went out for good.
