DJ Mbenga is no longer new to Pinoy basketball fans.
Having won two titles with the Los Angeles Lakers and being a friend to Kobe Bryant, the seven-foot Congolese-Belgian may not be a household name in the Philippines, but is certainly familiar among basketball fans.
But how do you really pronounce his surname really?
Here, the 32-year old cager gamely educates Spin.ph on how to properly pronounce his name, which he said should be said with a silent 'M' and pronounced in a certain intonation.
And since his full name is Didier Ilunga-Mbenga, we decided to just focus on his last name for the short lecture.
