Nambatac went for a jump shot and then landed on the foot of Magnolia import Ricardo Ratliffe as he went down, twisting his right foot.
“Naka-apak ako ng size 18 na paa,” was how he described sustaining the injury.
While Nambatac stayed on the TNT bench and watched the Tropang Giga pull off a 103-100 win, he never went back to the game.
The playmaker out of Letran finished with four points, a rebound, and an assist while playing a total of close to 11 minutes.
“May swelling siya. Namaga. May pain kapag tinatapak ko,” said Nambatac of his condition.
For good measure, the TNT guard said he’ll have an X-ray on the injured foot by Thursday.
