AS if Meralco doesn't have enough problems in its hands, here's another piece of bad news.

Veteran Ranidel De Ocampo left Game Three with a suspected torn calf muscle, adding to the woes of a Bolts side that already trails Barangay Ginebra, 0-2, in the PBA Governors Cup Finals.

De Ocampo, who has been a steadying presence for Meralco since coming in via trade from TNT, left Wednesday's game at the 8:24 mark of the first quarter and never returned.

Meralco officials said De Ocampo suffered the injury in Game Two.

"Hindi pa namin alam. May naramdaman daw siya kanina," said team manager Paolo Trillo at halftime of Game Three which saw the Bolts trail the Kings, 47-46.

The 35-year-old De Ocampo disclosed it could be a torn calf muscle on his left leg, which has been bothering him as early as the semifinal series against the Star Hotshots.

"Nung semis pa lang sa Star pinapaboran ko na itong leg ko. Kaya ngayon eto bumigay na," he said inside the Meralco dugout, his injured leg wrapped in ice.

"Pag atake ko kay (Justine) Brownlee naramdaman ko may nag-pop," said RDO.

It was the first time he suffered the injury.

De Ocampo later proceeded to the Makati Med to undergo MRI on his leg.

"Depende siguro kung gaano tatagal ang series," he said. "Pag umabot ng Game Seven, tingnan natin."
