"It's all God," wrote Williams. "And just like that, it begins."
Williams hasn't played in the PBA for nearly three years, his last stint being the 2023 Governors' Cup where he won his second Finals MVP for TNT.

After an impasse with the Tropang 5G, Williams' signing rights were acquired by Converge for Jordan Heading in June of last year, but he only recently signed a one-year deal with his new team.
Williams joins a retooled FiberXers side with Juan Gomez de Liaño, Justine Baltazar, Justin Arana, Alec Stockton, and Calvin Abueva.
