MERALCO will now be sporting new threads, just as the Bolts unveiled a new logo for the 50th Season of the PBA.
Moving forward, Meralco will don the black colorway for their dark uniforms, while keeping the orange and blue and maintaining the lightning bolt on their logo.
The change comes in time for the electric utility company's 15th year in the PBA.
The Bolts said that their new logo “features a cleaner, sharper, and more balanced look, reflecting the team’s evolution and readiness for the next era of competition.”
The team also said that the logo “carries a sleeker finish that embodies strength, speed, and resilience—values that define the Bolts on and off the court, and are deeply rooted in Meralco’s own principles of excellence, innovation, and malasakit.”

“Really exciting time for us,” said Meralco star Chris Newsome. “This is my second time of having a rebrand with Meralco. I think Cliff [Hodge] and Anjo [Caram] have gone through three rebrandings.”
“It’s definitely a new look for us. We’ve never donned black jerseys,” he added.
Newsome acknowledged that the colors are similar to the Oklahoma City Thunder, which he hopes means wins - and even the championship - are coming for the Bolts.
“A lot of people say that it kinda reminds them of OKC and I don’t mind getting that comparison because they won the NBA championship last year,” he said.
