THE Meralco Bolts have bolstered their lineup with two big trade in a span of a four days, and sources say they're not done yet.

A few hours before they acquired Rabeh al-Hussaini and Nerbert Omolon in a three-team trade also involving Talk 'N Text and Air21, the Bolts were also looking to trade big man JR Reyes, sources said.

“They are now in negotiations. Pero kung sino yung dating nabalita na gusto ng Meralco yun ang hinahabol nila,” said the source from one of the teams Meralco approached for a possible deal.

Reyes is still believed to be on the trading block as he became expendable following the arrival of Al-Hussaini at the Bolts camp.

Just this Monday, Meralco acquired Al-Hussaini and Omolon while trading away scoring star Mark Cardona and Noy Baclao. Cardona went to Air 21 with Pamboy Raymundo and Bambam Gamalinda while Baclao, Eric Salamat, Rob Reyes and Air 21’s second-round draft pick for 2015 went to Talk 'N Text.

The trade came just three days after Meralco acquired Gary David and rookie guard AJ Mandani from Globaport in exchange for Chris Ross, Chris Timberlake, and two future second-round picks.

The twin deals were actually the finished product of an initial deal reported by Spin.ph last August that went through several revisions. [For full story, see Air21 in talks with Meralco for Cardona-Cortez swap]

Cardona, meanwhile, accepted the latest twist in his career, sayin he already saw it coming.
