CHRIS Newsome said he isn't losing sleep over his non-inclusion in three All-Star teams are set to play Gilas Pilipinas 5.0 during the PBA All Star Week.
"It's not really a big deal. If I was selected, it would've been great. It's always nice to have that in your resume but at the same time, it's not something that I'd dwell on," Newsome said.
"In all honesty, my main focus is to win a championship with Meralco," he added.

Newsome has been one of the primary reasons for Meralco's surge in the conference, posting averages of 12.7 points, 4.7 assists and 1.3 steals over the course of their four-game winning run.
But Newsome said he understands that the selection process is more of a popularity contest after all and that fans simply voted for players they want to see in the game.
"No hard feelings. I understand how the voting goes. I understand that Meralco is not yet one of the most popular teams in the league," Newsome said.
"I can see why the players that were there are there, because they have been established for a long time or they play in a popular team like San Miguel or Ginebra," he added.
Newsome could only hope that with another impressive run here in this conference, the Bolts Nation would slowly garner the support that they deserve.
"Yeah, I hope that the Meralco fanbase grows. As of now, the Meralco employees have been really supportive of us. Even though they might not be here, we know that they are at their homes cheering for us."
