Meralco Bolts re-sign Ranidel de Ocampo to two-year contract

    Nov 29, 2017
A late Meralco acquisition this season, Ranidel de Ocampo gets a fresh deal with the Bolts.

MERALCO has re-signed stretch forward Ranidel de Ocampo to a two-year contract as the Bolts look forward to finally nailing a first ever PBA championship.

The 35-year-old forward from Tanza, Cavite signed the new contract in the presence of Meralco team manager Paolo Trillo. Terms of the deal were not made available.

The two-year contract was offered even as De Ocampo recovers from a tear on his left calf muscle sustained in Game Three of the Governors Cup finals. The injury kept De Ocampo from rejoining the Bolts for the remainder of the seven-game series won by Barangay Ginebra.
