CHRIS McCullough played his first PBA game in nearly seven years on Wednesday in Game 4 of the 50th Commissioner’s Cup semifinals.
McCullough had 24 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in his TNT debut, his first PBA match since August 16, 2019 when he led San Miguel to the Commissioner’s Cup crown with a 102-90 win against TNT.

Despite McCullough’s performance on Wednesday, TNT lost to Meralco by nearly a similar scoreline of 101-90, no thanks to timely baskets by CJ Cansino in the end.
McCullough was also not exactly too happy with his play in Game 4 where he shot 7-of-22 from the field including an 0-of-5 clip from three-point range, vowing to be better in the next games.
The 31-year-old McCullough said he is still finding his rhythm after playing his first official game since he was with the Taoyuan Taiwan Beer Leopards where he played in the playoffs just last May 15.

Expect bigger things in the coming days for McCullough, he vowed, as he logged more days with TNT this conference.
“I didn’t play basketball in 13 days. It’s my first time to pick up a basketball in 13 days,” said McCullough.
“I’m still getting my rhythm, getting my flow. But once I get going, it will be scary."
Instead of a two-game lead, TNT is now in a tie with Meralco, 2-2, in the best-of-seven series with Game 5 just a day away at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum. McCullough isn’t worried about the defeat, still liking his team’s chances of regaining the lead.
“We lost, get back to practice, work on some things, see what works, and come back Friday,” said McCullough.
“Just play basketball. That’s it. Come back Friday, get a win. It’s a best-of-three now."
