LUCENA - MAVERICK Ahanmisi turned the Quezon Convention Center into his own personal playground as he took home the PBA All-Star Cloudfone Obstacle Challenge for the second consecutive year.
After besting Kris Rosales in the face-off round, the Rain or Shine guard set the bar high early in the finals as he completed a flawless run to finish with a time of 25.8 seconds.
That time stood in the face of the challenge from the other finalists, with San Miguel's Alex Cabagnot coming the closest at 26.7 seconds.
"It was tough. I was lucky in the final round I was able to go hard and not made any mistakes," said Ahanmisi. "I'm just glad, glory to God, I'm happy to win again."
NLEX' Emman Monfort finished third with a time of 27.1 seconds, Phoenix' RJ Jazul clocked in at 29.4, though he would have finished quicker had it not for a moment of confusion in his run.
Simon Enciso and Sol Mercado both struggled in the final round to finish with times of 37.8 and 38.4 seconds, respectively.
Other participants were Stanley Pringle of GlobalPort, Blackwater's Roi Sumang, Mahindra's LA Revilla, Meralco's Ed Daquioag, Star's Mon Abundo and Rosales.
