MATT Ganuelas-Rosser would have enjoyed making his San Miguel debut against his old squad in TNT but unfortunately, he might sit out a little longer before suiting up for the Beermen.
Rosser was in civilian clothes as the Beermen bowed to the KaTropa, 103-112, on Friday night as he's still recovering from a foot injury he suffered during his days with TNT.
"I'm still recovering from my injury, coaches, management and PTs of San Miguel advised me to rest until I'm a hundred percent. They're not putting any pressure in rushing me to come back," Rosser said.
"I'm just taking it week by week. Hopefully the sooner the better," he added.
Rosser admitted being a bit disappointed after missing out the game which would have pitted him against faces he's known for most of his career.
But he isn't too worried about it as he's confident that he’ll have his chance to face TNT somewhere down the road, one way or another.
"I really wanted to play today, but I can't force it. I was a little bit disappointed but there's gonna be a lot of opportunities to play against them. They're a great team," he continued.
But if there's one thing he learned in this game, it's that he's fully adjusted to being with San Miguel as he's already comfortable being on the other side of the bench against his former team.
"Wasn't so weird cause I've been with San Miguel all this week, it was an easy transition, it was just a fun game to watch."
