MARK Caguioa picked the perfect time to propose to his girlfriend, Lauren Hudson, going down on one knee shortly after Ginebra put an end to an eight-year PBA championship drought at the expense of Meralco in the Governors’ Cup.
As the Gin Kings celebrated their first title since 2008, the Gin Kings franchise player kneeled on one knee on the court, before asking his longtime Filipino-Australian partner to marry him, to which she acknowledged.

The power couple has been together since 2004.
“We’ve been together for twelve years and I think it’s the right time,” Caguioa said. “And this was the right time.”
“Siya yung nagpapalakas sa akin,” he added. “And I want to thank her that she’s been there through the ups and downs. And I want to tell her that I love her.”
