GINEBRA superstar Mark Caguioa took to Twitter to react to Rudy Distrito's "wake-up call" on Wednesday, saying he fully agreed with the points raised by the former Gin Kings stalwart.
In a story ran by Spin.ph on Wednesday, Distrito, 55, called on 'The Spark' to lead from the front for Ginebra as he criticized as "selfish" Caguioa's rant against his teammates shortly after the team's disappointing exit from the PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinal playoffs.
They Said It!
Mark Caguioa via his twitter account
Hours later, Caguioa took to Twitter to say he fully agreed with Distrito's points.
Tagal ko narin ksi dto sa Ginebra 13yrs kaya nakita ko na yung ups and downs ng team," said the one-time PBA MVP on his account @officialMC47.
The Ginebra guard said he knew his Twitter rant against his "soft, lazy" teammates shortly after the lopsided loss to top seed Talk 'N Text would be taken differently by other people.
Still, Caguioa said he cared so much for the team and its fans not to speak up.
"I just care so much for the fans and specially the team kaya ako yung unang nag vovoice out," he tweeted. "'Yun nga lang alam ko d lahat ng tao mag aagree and i knw that b4 i put it on twitter. And i respect those pipol like Rudy D."
