HARDWORKING guards Mark Barroca and RR Garcia are often credited for doing it all for their teams. They say they actually do it all for their kids.
Barroca said no therapy is better that seeing and hugging his daughter Natalie when he gets home after a tough match.
“Makita ko lang ang anak ko wala na ang pagod ko,” said the San Mig Super Coffee guard.
“Ang makasama at maka-bonding mo lang ang pamilya mo, magsimba every Sunday, 'yun ang the best part ng pagiging tatay. Di na kailangan ng kahit anong yaman pa sa mundo.”
Garcia, a former teammate of Barroca at Far Eastern University, said two-year-old daughter Ryanne is everything to him.
“Ang pinaka-magandang bagay sa pagiging tatay ay 'yung pag dumadating ako sa bahay galing practice, nawawala `yung pagod ko kapag nakikita ko 'yung anak ko,” said the GlobalPort rookie.
Both Barroca and Garcia plan to celebrate Father’s Day by going out with their respective families.
Barroca and the San Mig Coffee Mixers are playing a game on Monday against Rain or Shine, and expect cute Natalie to be waiting by the dugout door to make dad happy — no matter the result.
