MARK Barroca of Magnolia and Japeth Aguilar of Barangay Ginebra will captain their respective teams in the PBA All-Star Bacolod 2024 after emerging as the two players with the most votes from fans.

Barroca and Aguilar will get to choose their players for the midseason festivities to be held in March.

Barroca, who got the most votes from the fans, will be the team captain of the All-Star Game for the first time since the format was introduced last year in a match that saw Aguilar, coached by Cone, beating the team of Scottie Thompson, 140-136, in Passi, Iloilo.

By being the top two voter-getters, Barroca and Aguilar will get to choose from a pool of 27 players that were also voted by the fans, host city, coaches, and media.

Meanwhile, Tim Cone of Ginebra and newly-crowned Commissioner's Cup champion Jorge Gallent of San Miguel will be the All-Star coaches after getting the most number of fan votes in balloting done online and at the venue.
