MARION Magat has formally become a part of the NLEX Road Warriors after being activated by the team on Thursday.
Magat got the nod of NLEX coach Yeng Guiao following an invitation to try out for the Road Warriors after being released by Alaska. With the move, Magat is eligible to play for NLEX's Friday match against Rain or Shine.
The 6-foot-7 Magat, who played for three seasons with the Aces, will be shoring up the NLEX frontcourt where he is expected to be a back-up to the likes of Poy Erram, JR Quinahan and Asi Taulava.
A second-round pick in the 2015 draft, Magat played for 20 games in the 2017-2018 season where he averaged 3.7 points and 2.6 rebounds.
