SAN Mig Super Coffee strongman Marc Pingris said coach Tim Cone has warned the Mixers against complacency as they battle bitter rival Alaska Aces in the PBA Governors’ Cup on Friday at the Cuneta Astrodome.
The Mixers are on a three-game winning streak, while the Aces are coming off a 123-72 blowout loss to the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, but Pingris said they enter the match with the same focus as any other match.
Gametime is at 8 p.m.
The Mixers have beaten Meralco Bolts (108-90), Globalport (92-82) and Ginebra (102-90).
A victory by San Mig, which enters the match with a 4-1 win-loss card, will move the reigning Governors Cup champion closer to one of the top four spots that could also guarantee a twice-to-beat advantage in the playoffs.
