NEWLY-acquired San Mig Coffee forward Allein Maliksi was quick to admit he's still in the process of trying to blend in with the rest of the Mixers.

The former Barako Bull player only had a day to prepare with his new team as he only practiced with the Mixers once before suiting up in San Mig’s PBA Governors Cup game against Air21 Saturday.

“Feeling lost (ako). Nangangapa pa ako sa plays,” he said.

In his San Mig debut, Maliksi contributed five points on 2-of-5 shooting from the field, including a three-pointer in 14 minutes of play.

Unfortunately, the Mixers lost, 93-82.

Unlike in previous trades that saw him bounced from Barako Bull to Ginebra and back to Barako when he wasn’t informed about the deal, Maliksi said he was aware of his transfer this time and was actually happy about it.

For the Mixers’ next game, Maliksi hopes to become more efficient as he tries to learn more about the team’s system.
