MAGNOLIA won't be denied as it completed a sweep of the PBA On Tour with a 106-92 victory over Terrafirma on a rainy Wednesday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

Joseph Eriobu sparked a 14-2 Hotshots run bridging the third and fourth quarters to finally peel off from a tight 69-all game and an 84-72 lead.
Eriobu, who was elevated from the team's 3x3 team, accounted for half of the scoring run that enabled Magnolia to notch the win and finish the preseason with a perfect 11-0 record.
"We have achieved a late in this preseason," acknowledged Magnolia coach Chito Victolero. "But this is not the real battle. The real battle will be in October. So we will try to prepare hard again for the regular season.
Eriobu had 9 of his 15 points in the final period, while James Laput scored seven in the fourth quarter to finish with a team-high 16 points plus 11 rebounds.
After topscoring in Magnolia's last two outings, Jio Jalalon was held to only three points, but dished off 12 assists.
Terrafirma had six players in double figures, but not enough to prevent the team from finishing its campaign with a 4-7 record.
Andreas Cahilig led the Dyip with 14 points, including eight in the third quarter when they grabbed a 64-61 lead.
But the Hotshots finished the period on an 11-5 run to wrest back the lead heading to the fourth, 72-69.
