THE hero of Magnolia’s dramatic Game 2 win over Barangay Ginebra in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinals was suddenly grounded.
Paul Lee saw limited minutes in Sunday’s Game 3 at the Philsports Arena as the veteran guard apparently was feeling under the weather, although his pre-game test for COVID-19 proved to be negative.

Coach Chito Victolero utilized Lee as a starter and played him for just two minutes and 15 seconds before being pulled out for good.
Lee had his head draped with a towel while he sat and watched the action from the Magnolia bench.
And considering just two nights ago, it was Lee who saved the Hotshots from the jaws of defeat when he managed to pick the loose ball off a broken play and converted it for the game winner, 96-95, to tie the best-of-five series at 1-1.
Lee finished with 24 points in the win including 5-of-8 from three-point range.
