CHICAGO — The Magnolia Hotshots have tapped Kenyon Josep 'KJ' Buffen as their import for the upcoming Season 50 PBA Governors' Cup, league sources told SPIN.ph.
Listed at 6-foot-7 and 235-lbs, Buffen played US NCAA Division 1 basketball at Ole Miss and UAB where he suited up in 165 games and averaged a combined 9.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.

After playing in Finland and New Zealand, Buffen suited up for Rans PIK of the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) where he averaged 21. 5 points and 11.3 rebounds in the 2025-26 season.
Buffen 26, is expected to join Magnolia team practice on Tuesday.
