MAGNOLIA shoots for the 2018 PBA Governors’ Cup championship on Wednesday when it takes on Alaska in Game Six at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.
Gametime is at 7 p.m.
The Hotshots lead the best-of-seven series, 3-2, after a 79-78 victory over the Aces thanks to Paul Lee's corner jumper in the final seconds of Gamr Five.
Magnolia coach Chito Victolero expects Game Six to be just as intense as the the team tries to wrap up its first championship since the memorable 2014 grand slam.
“It will be a same game come Game Six,” Victolero said. ”This is what the finals is. I expect a dogfight. Last two games, we were outworked by Alaska. Pero now, ‘yung desire at will ng players ko, malakas.”
Romeo Travis, Ian Sangalang, Mark Barroca and Lee are again expected to lead the Hotshots, who are looking to become the first team to be crowned champions at the Ynares Center.
If Alaska can force a decider, it will be played on Friday at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
