TNT's loss to open the PBA 50th Season Commissioner's Cup spoiled the return of Jayson Castro on the court after 386 days.

Castro played 20 minutes and 41 seconds in Friday's game against Rain or Shine and produced 13 points, three rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

It was Castro's first game since February 28, 2025 in Game 2 of the 49th Season Commissioner's Cup semifinals against Rain or Shine where he suffered a ruptured right patellar tendon.
