EVEN in the pros, school pride still runs deep.
And even if they don new colors in the PBA, it's undeniable that the players still exude that varsity spirit whenever they visit their alma maters.
With the second conference of the 50th season now going full blast, we took a deep dive into the active rosters of each PBA team, to see which school has produced the most talents playing in the country's top flight pro-league right now,
Editor's Note: This list was based on the active line-up section of the PBA website as of April 3, 2026. Players like Mark Nonoy and Louie Sangalang who have gone AWOL but with live contracts are still included
1. Ateneo (21)
Ateneo remains the top producer of PBA talent, a distinction it has held for the longest time since Tab Baldwin took over coaching duties in Katipunan.
Chris Newsome spearheads the Blue Eagle band of brothers in Asia's oldest pay-for-play league, alongside the new-breed of Ateneo products in Gian Mamuyac, Kai Ballungay and Tyler Tio, among others, players who emerged under the tutelage of Baldwin.

Magnolia playing-coach LA Tenorio could beef up this list if he decides to play again for the Hotshots, making him easily the eldest of the Katipunan players who are still active in the league.

2. Letran (19)
Always one of the top producers in talents in the PBA, Letran has zoomed to the second of this list.
And it's no surprise given the Muralla school's recent dominance in the NCAA, when it won a three-peat under coach Bonnie Tan, spurred that influx of players.
For the longest time, it was Meralco's Raymond Almazan, NLEX's Kevin Alas and Kevin Racal who held the fort for Letran.

But this recent wave of talents, including rookies like Sonny Estil, Jun Roque, and Mark Omega, have only fattened up the Letran delegation in the PBA.

The Taft crew also continues to thrive with rookie Joshua David joining the league in this second conference.
