BLACKWATER decided right away to send home Ricky Ledo after the team suffered a second straight loss in the PBA Governors Cup.
Coach Jeff Cariaso talked to the former NBA player about being given the pink slip following the 112-93 loss to NLEX last Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, according to a Blackwater insider.
“After the second game, coach Jeff told him about it,” a source related to SPIN.ph.

Ledo finished with only six points in the loss against the Road Warriors, just half of his total output (12) in his debut game for the Bossing, a 110-97 loss to Rain or Shine.
In all, the 31-year-old Ledo, who had stints with the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks, averaged 9.0 points on 6-of-28 shooting from the field.
The Blackwater import went back to the US on Saturday.
Ledo’s replacement in Cameron Clark will be arriving in the country on Tuesday.
Replacing Ledo was unimaginable even at this early stage of the conference especially in the aftermath of his impressive showing during the pre-season games where Blackwater went undefeated.
“Five tune-up games, he (Ledo) was doing great. We won all five games,” said the Blackwater insider.
Even Barangay Ginebra team governor Alfrancis Chua was impressed with the way the Bossing played in the offseason with Ledo in the team.
“Isang magandang team na panoorin ngayon yung Blackwater. I think they got a very good import,” said Chua during the pre-season presser two weeks ago.
Now Blackwater has to start from scratch anew.
