LEBRON James once again gave a shoutout to buddy Romeo Travis, who scored a career-high 50 points on Friday in Game Four of the PBA Governors’ Cup.
James congratulated Travis on Instagram for the huge performance that brought Magnolia to the finals of the Governors’ Cup after a 112-108 win over Barangay Ginebra in Game Four of the best-of-five semifinals.
“Headed to the Finals on a 50 piece nugget. Congrats my brother @rometrav. Keep going Lucky Lefty #FabFive,” wrote the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, whose Instagram account is followed by almost 45 million.
Travis replied by writing: “Thanks brother!! Appreciate you.”
This is not the first time James paid tribute to Travis, a friend of his since their high school days in St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron, Ohio.
James also congratulated Travis after finishing with 32 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists and two steals in a Magnolia win over Columbian in October.
