LA Tenorio went straight to the hospital and underwent MRI after hurting his groin in Barangay Ginebra’s 101-91 victory on Sunday night against the Bay Area Dragons in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup finals.
“Hindi ko pa alam. MRI ako ngayon,” said Tenorio on his way out of the Mall of Asia Arena following Game Five of the title series.

The Ginebra team captain suffered the injury just before halftime.
He tried to play it out in the third quarter, but asked to be substituted right after the first possession.

Tenorio finished with eight points, three assists, and a rebound while going 4-of-7 from the floor.
Coach Tim Cone is still uncertain whether his court leader will miss out Game Six on Wednesday, or even the rest of the series.
But the champion coach said not having Tenorio around definitely has a huge impact for the team.
“He’s so key to what we do especially in the playoffs because he’s our leader, he’s our ballhandler, he’s our organizer, he’s our big shot guy, and he’s our emotional leader as well,” said Cone.
“We’re going to miss all those things if he didn’t get the chance to play.”
